B&W: Day 2! Real challenge commences

 photo BampWNailArtChallengebanner_zps54ddb05b.jpg

Who thought of stamping ... ughhh!!! (cough cough was it me?)
As if black and white ONLY wasnt enough of a challenge, stamping was sooo hard but after several attempts, i decided to like what I had come up with and left it at that.. then off course, top coat time came and messed even more the "design".

Using SinfulColors white and black on black with Pueen Plate and GA35 and several anger/frustration episodes this is what I was left with.

One thing,  I did do it on both hands :) yaaay! LoL!

Want a quick facial? O.R.G Skincare

As part of a product review, I received an O.R.G Skincare Organic Mineral Peel.

Using beauty methods and regimens from all over Asia, addressing real beauty issues and using the best active ingredients, O.R.G. Skincare products really speak for themselves.

I was delighted to be given the opportunity to review this beauty.  It came in an odd-looking packaging very eco-friendly looking :)

When I saw the word "peel" in its name, I thought it was going to be the normal "skin peel" apply as a mask then peel off and viola! some magical temporary benefit to your skin will appear.  But it was off because it comes in a spray bottle.

I was amazed by its effects, no magic, not temporary whatsoever, clean skin for ever.  This is a wonderful exfoliant.   I used it about 3 times per week (I went OD) when I first started I then went to once a week and now is less I am enjoying nice sun-kissed skin.  I think this is the time to use it the most but with its brightening effect am afraid I'll peel my tan off and my face will again turn boring olive/pale color.  So am not using it as much.

eww stuff from my hand

Before and after results
What's even more amazing, is using it before you put on your makeup.  This is like a quick facial just spray on, allow to set a few seconds, exfoliate with a gentle massage and remove and you're done! put on your makeup and wow!
Click on any of the descriptions for product uses HERE for quick video clips filled with beauty tips.
This is "beauty in a bottle"  Retails for $44.00 compared to a $70 facial (plus gas getting to a spa and tip).

You are just going to "Adore" Nail Polish

As part of a product review, I received two pretties from Adore Nail Polish  In Love with My Honey and Vintage Lace.  These are perfect for bridal manis or just classy occasions.

Adore Nail Polish came about from the love and joy of weddings, whether attending, being a part of it or having a wedding yourself.  This polish was created "to be as special as a bride should feel during this whole event."  The name was because every bride loves to Adore, should feel Adored and is Adoring.  So "Adore" simply fits.

We, as lacquer lovers, know the importance of a good color selection but it's even more important when it comes to that special day or event.  so without further ado, here they are.

In Love with my Honey (1 coat) is a satin peach-rosy and Vintage Lace (2 coats) is a satin white.

Both colors have great coverage, applying these reminded me of when I "dress" my bed with silk sheets, so soft, so smooth and so sensual.  But just as silk is unforgiving on any bumps or folds.  This polish is unforgiving of ridges or anything on your nails.  I should've giving my nails a quick buff to get rid of any bumps or ridges.  The "texture" on Vintage Lace was achieved by my cotton bed sheets last night (if you know what I mean) :-p from going to sleep with dentable polish.

I love the bottles and their logo really had a personality change with these.  I am sexy! :)

Finally tamed my curls

As part of a product review I received an Olivia Garden paddle brush.
Paddle Brush? What Brush to use when??

Olivia Garden was founded in Belgium in 1968 and has a long history of innovative and high quality products for hairdressers' professional needs and of course the consumer for pro results.  They are a leader in the salon industry and its products are sold in over 70 countries around the world.

As you already know, I have very abundant, long, curly, sometimes unmanageable hair and brushes can be my best or worst friends.  You simply cant brush curly hair (after is dried) unless you want to end up with a soft sponge or just a sponge.  So what brush is for what?  I am still figuring this out and trying different brushes.  Today, I am presenting a paddle brush.

"It's Nano-Silver Technology provides anti-bacterial protection, hair is healthier & easier to style.  Ionic soft cushion for total scalp comfort for detangling, styling, brushing and updos, retractable sectioning pick."

Paddle brushes are best for longer hair.  Gently sweep down hair.  Because brush is flat, it works wonders for creating smooth, sleek and shiny styles.  For curly hair, is the perfect detangler after getting out of the shower, smooth the fly-aways and remove loose hairs it even helps increase circulation to the scalp.

Once my curls are "flattened" while wet a nice bouncy curl will result once dried using your favorite styling product.

I use Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls that I also received for review and now can't live without it.  Specifically designed to leave curls soft and not crunchy, shiny and bouncy.  In other words manageable.
Jelly Soft Curls

With the help of the brush partnered with this amazing styler, curls were made into tamed spirals ALL DAY LONG and into the next day!
I straightened my bangs for a different look but I see no fuzzys nor frizzies :)  It says use a quarter size amount but I did need about two quarters size.

This picture was taken about 7 hours after styling showing off my friend's new baby whom I now love with all my heart.  Curls are still in place they way I wanted them :)  If you're looking for volume, simply crunch up your hair when applying the styler and it will dry with volume.  I applied flat.

I wish I had actually purchased this styler so you dont think am posting a good review because it was given to me.  I really like it!! ohhhh and it also smells divine!!!

My new Olivia Garden paddle brush and Miss Jessies are my hair's best friends.

Babys' (cats) trip to Lake George and Sherpa Pet Carrier

**carrier received as part of a product review**

Time to go away came and you have babies like mine and lack a cat sitter the options are limited and to me, it's clear! either THEY COME TOO or I stay!!!!!!!!!!

No choice! The cats will have to be packed :) Sadly, Maya did not have a good while in the car :(

I do have a kennel for them but for their own safety each cat  must travel in his/her own carrier.
My Sherpa Pet Carrier came and as you can see Milo had no trouble whatsoever to make it his own.

 photo IMG_1009_zpsc67ea363.jpg

Maya has really no interest in ANY carrier whatsoever

 photo IMG_1012_zpsa58738e2.jpg photo IMG_1011_zps45380246.jpg

Is nicely cushioned inside.  I took it apart to Milo could inspect throughoutly.

 photo IMG_1040_zpsd6781e1b.jpg

He doesnt care if the guts (the comfy stuff) are out... he likes to be in!
 photo IMG_1044_zpsc0c5c42d.jpg

Or out!! he made his point!
 photo IMG_1045_zpsd2a16816.jpg

As for me, I looooooooved it! easy to carry! It has a padded shoulder strap that doubles as a pull strap.  Mesh panels for ventilation and roll down privacy flaps.
Also a convenient pocket that I used for treats and Feliway spray (just in case)

 photo IMG_1082_zps0b93bf9a.jpg photo IMG_1084_zps47ef1c60.jpg

Milo is ready to go.

 photo IMG_1089_zps3e515d49.jpg

and it's easy in through top and out through side :)

Medium Ultimate

As mentioned, Maya did not have a good time at all! I put her in the hard kennel and she panicked.. It was so bad she scratched her nose against the hard steel kennel doors until her nose bled.
To calm her down, I switched Milo into the hard kennel and took her out for a bit.  She only stayed calmed while in my arms and even took a nap.

Photo: :-( she's only calm in Mommy s arms. My poor baby

Photo: my baby was trying to escape the kennel and got her nose all scratched up. this is a sad sad road trip but she's feeling better in mommy's arms

Milo wasnt happy that Maya took over "his" carrier and was looking for his way in!

 photo CAM01014_zpsbfe1426e.jpg

Because of inconvenient factors, the cats had to be smuggled in.
Yeah! great! now am a cat smuggler just my luck!  Lucky indeed.  I cant smuggle a cat in a kennel (everyone knows those things are for pets) The Sherpa carrier's privacy flaps came in very handy.  I threw them both in and they were ready to access resort grounds :)
The carrier is made for pets up to 16 lbs.  they both seemed ok.. not totally comfy ..  (at least not in the picture) but this was the only flap I had opened and they both wanted to look out!  it's really made for one cat at a time but ok for a walk from the car to the cabin
 photo CAM01001_zps384cedc8.jpg

At the resort, sighs! that's another story for another post but at the end of our stay at resort #1 (there were two), Milo just didnt want to leave.
 photo IMG_4280_zpsf6c518bf.jpg

On the way back, Maya took the soft carrier and Milo was very well behaved in the other kennel, he did try to open the door but soon he just laid-down and went night night.  I carried Maya for about half way back (2hrs approx.) we both took a nap then I put her in the Sherpa carrier and she did much much better, no attempts to escape and no bloody nose.  My poor baby!

If you have pets, you need to have a pet carrier and highly recommend Sherpa pet carrier and it's also airline approved.  Read more details HERE and check out their Facebook page as well for the cutest pictures and products.

What do you think??? I love reading your comments
