Color Booster

Todos los colores estan vistos aqui con dos capas excepto en el dedo anular (aunque no se aprecie bien en las fotos) ya que se aplico una capa de la base reforzante de color Lancome.  La base reforzante fue aplicada en el dedo del corazon debajo de Pearl Grey.

Con la base reforzante solo necesite una capa del color.

All shades here are seen in two coats except for the ring finger (not so easily appreciated in all of the photos) to which only one coat was applied and applied over Lancome's Undercoat Color Booster.  Color Booster was applied for Pearl Grey on middle finger.

Over the color booster, I only needed one coat of color.

As you know, my mom has come to visit for a few months from Colombia.  Of course, in her travels, she is a bearer of many gifts.... She usually comes on a late flight and I normally ask for the next day off because the night of her arrival (everytime she comes) we do NOT go to bed until everything is unpacked because I want to see all of the goodies she brought me! 

This time she brought me the most amazing AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS diptych made by Encanto Manual who is a very close friend.  Being a cat lover, I immediately fell in love with it.  This is hand painted and engraved in a suade-type fabric 

measuring 60cm by 38cm. (23.6 x 15 in) each.

Got Merlot? Review and GIVEAWAY

When I see the word "Merlot" I am not thinking skin care, but it kind of makes sense.  Grapes from which my Merlot is made have amazing properties and "Dr. Grapes" as his friends call him or "Mr. Merlot" came up with "Grape Seed Technology" to bring us this skin care line.   Mr. Wayne Becley first learned of a report on people in France whose diets were heavy in saturated fat also seemed to suffer virtually no heart disease.  The report linked the findings to the drinking of red white (my first thought of the word "Merlot") and that's in a nut shell how Merlot was born.

First up is the Purifying Peel-Off Mask.  Sometimes your face just doesnt feel as smooth as you wish and that's because despite washing and cleaning, several impurities clog your pores and others just dont want to let go.   

Primero: La mascarilla purificadora.  A veces la cara no se siente tan suave y terson como quisieramos and y eso es porque aunque nos lavemos la cara y la limpiemos, muchas impurezas se quedan en los poros y otras se reusan en irse.  

This mask is gentle, quick drying and helps maintain hydration.  Has a cooling and refreshing effect calming stressed skin and even a stressed mind :)  I expected it to have a fruity or grape-y scent but it's unscented.  

Esta mascarilla es suave, se seca rapido y ayuda a mantener la hidratacion.  Tiene un efecto refrescante que calma una piel estresada y hasta una mente estresada.  :)  Yo esperaba que tuviera un olor a frutas o algo asi pero no, no tiene ningun olor. 

Very easy to apply and most importantly, to me, very easy to remove.  Another plus is that is only $16.00 is not a mask that only certain people can afford.

Es muy facil de aplicar y tambien muy facil de quitar.  Otra cosa muy buena es que solo cuesta $16.00 no es una mascarilla que solo ciertas personas pueden comprar.  

Next up is Merlot Divine.  It's a sparkling fragrance inspired by the fruits of the vine.  It's a floral/citrusy scent (if that makes sense) but does not overtake you (not too strong where you're disgusted by the second or third application) and it's long lasting.  Also, the bottle can be re-used as a single bloom vase.   This is a great feature, some of my favorite perfumes come in a bottle I wish I could keep but have no use for it.  Merlot fixed that problem

Siguiente: Merlot Divine.  Es una fragancia inspirada por las frutas de la viña.  Tiene una escencia  floral y citrica (si eso tiene sentido) pero no es tan fuerte que estas empalagada despues de la 2da. o 3ra. aplicacion.  Y dura todo el dia.  Tambien el envase puede ser reusado como florero solitario.  Esto me encanta ya que algunos de mis perfumes favoritos vienen en un envase el que quisiera conservar pero no lo puedo usa.  Merlot arreglo ese problema.

I live in a very small apartment with very small closets and little to no goodies-storage space, I always run out of room for goodies, nail polish, shoes, makeup, you know, things that are really important (lol) you name it and I dont know where to put it... and on top of it, I hate being messy.

This has got to be the best collection ever made!! 26 plates and one fairy tale.  you MUST check out the Cheeky Summer 2012 Collection that I received for review.  Even my little Milo loved it and he's never gotten past a paw trim ;) (unlike my Princess Maya  that gets a pawdicure all the time lol) He just wouldnt get off my setup.. Amazingly well put together.  several images per plate.  Storage box also fits my other Cheeky plates.  and Nail Artist License can be used as a scrapper in case of an emergency.  Plates come with blue film to protect them and paper backing to avoid scratching. 

Muy bien pensado.  varias imagenes por placa.  A la cajita para guardarlas tambien le caben mis otras placas Cheeky y la lisencia tambien puede usar como raspador en caso de emergencia.  Placas vienen con pelicula protectora y cubiertas en la parte de atras para que no se rayen.  

I am very satisfied with this collection.  Again, it has everything you need, it is impossible to EVER get bored of these plates.  I Love the themes in each one.  If there is one you want to see in particular let me know ;)
