I received the Zoya PixieDust Fall 2013 Collection.  Summer is not yet over but we need to start talking about the fall... my favorite season (after lent :p ) 

Just when you thought PixieDusts couldnt get any prettier, missing colors arise.

I hope you enjoy the foliage of this collection as much as I am. 

First up is Tomoko.  Cheerful champagne silver off-white shade.

Super bright under the camera flash and low ambiance lighting 

Sunshine is a gorgeous dark sky blue (not as bright as Liberty).  My camera shows it darker then it really is but still a true beauty.

This cell phone photo shows it closer to what it really looks like. 

Chita is a jade green ready to "fall" forward on a perfect fall foliage mani

Carter is described as "Regal Violet" I call it violet with a hint of fuchsia... (gotta love made up color's names)

Camera made it look waay to purple but the cell phone pic on the right is a closer to what it looks like "in person" and the diamond sparkle.

and lastly, Arabella a rich fuchsia.  The full expression of femininity.  Season perfect for any season.

As part of a product review, I received some samples from Londontown.  I had never heard of this brand before but I am very pleased to have found it.  

Londontown is vegan, gluten and cruelty free and kur's Nail Hardener and Protective Top Coat are proudly, “5-Free”

The key ingredients in Londontown's products deeply moisterizes, prevents nails from cracking and splitting, supports strength, improves nail growth and promotes cell growth.  These ingredients include primrose, cucumber, garlic and chamomile extracts, vitamin A and E among other natural ingredients.

Each product works great on its own but when they work together they create a stronger bond.   Londontown protective top coat proved essential for any manicure is resistant and glossy.  Retails for $25.00

When in a rush and your nails wont dry, apply just a drop of Kur's Accelerating Drying Oil for a natural way to seal in your mani.  Retails for $25.00

and lastly, Lakur's lacquer.  This is Guarded Jewel.  Seen below in two coats and amazing gloss.

I featured Guarded Jewel for the B&W Nail Art Challenge as for the last day we were able to add one color.  Guarded Jewel came in as a crown jewel with merits of guarding.

Indie Invasion: Literary Lacquer

As part of a product review, I received these four beauties from Literary Lacquers' Green Gables Collection.  Hand mixed beauties inspired by literature.  

Who knew these two could mix!!! :) 

First up is Carrots Carrots (I didn't type that twice) it's Carrots on left hand and Carrots in right hand.

It's an peachy-orangy base with different size glitters fitting the color scheme.

Green Gables is a holo green.

Marilla's Amethyst Brooch is a gorgeous purple with micro purple shiny glitters.

and lastly, this gorgeous topper called "Anne With An E"

I used two coats but one would have been enough... I just loved the glaze look it gave the gorgeous teal.

Cuddly Thermal-Aid: Review and Giveaway

 As part of a product review, I received a thermal aid cuddly buddy! Happy Hippo!!!! :)

He has really turned into a great friend of mine!

You would think this is for kids only but nooooo.. let me tell you.. .my only children are furry fluff balls they wont be using this  ... we're all kids at heart, and let's face it we also need that extra TLC from time to time..

Happy Hippo has turned into my best bedside friend ... it's been really hot and i've been really sick when fever burns you need to cool off!  I was too sick to take good pics and no one was here to do it for me so i'll just tell you.  I put Happy Hippo in the freezer for a while (6 hrs recommended) and he kept me cool for an entire afternoon (I think)... I fell asleep.

Thermal-aid is made of natural cotton and a heating/cooling element composed of a specially engineered corn and proudly made in the U.S.A.

I also received a medium sectional heating/cooling pack! the thing is heavy!!! and a life saver for me for my chronic lumbar pain that I get once a month because of the mere fact of being a "girl" you get me? I hope!  i dont want to get too explicit.

It's heavy!!! I thought it was like 10 lbs.  but it's only 5lbs. I had to weight it I had to know.   I threw it in the microwave for 3 minutes placed it on my low back and I have no idea what felt BETTER the heat or the weight   :)  I was a happy camper... like Happy Hippo  :)

It has an unattractive utility look but works wonders :)

and as well as Happy Hippo, they are washable and wont accumulate germs and yucky stuff.
