NOTD: Cat-titude

As you know, I had a mani today for the tri-color tuesdays challenge ... i really really liked it and decided to keep it for the rest of the week but instead I peeled it off ... the good news is that I had to do my nails again and this is what I came up with... these better last through the weekend b/c I need to keep my nails pretty (and somewhat basic) for a skiing trip.

I wanted something basic yet, pretty and you cant go wrong with a frenchy... Using Zoya Godiva from the pioneer pixie dust collection, a white striper and the cat stickers I recently bought.   taa-daaa--- here it is!!! 

(and if you read me yesterday, nope! I still haven't fixed my room)

Tri Polish Tuesdays

I really wanted to clean my room today, well... it's clean but really messy... tomorrow is going to be a lonooooong day,... I may or may not have the chance to jump on the computer so am posting this tonight.  I took on another challenge, The Tri-Polish Tuesdays!!! from Crumpet's Nail Tarts

The challenge consists in three colours chosen for each month and we have to post up to four manis using those three colours and we're also allowed black, white, silver, gold and glitter toppers (YAAAAY!!!)

The good thing is that we dont have to stick to the same three polishes as long as we stick with the three colors plus the allowed extras.

So I had soooo many ideas flowing through my mind.  The challenge started last week but I missed it.. and the colors screaaamed!!! for a sunset... but am sure someone already tried that ... so I wanted to do some stamping and that didnt work out too well... I figured I was just going to do some boring striping (one "p") when to grab my striping brush and grabbed a fan brush instead,.... and LIGHT BULB!!!

I hope you can see the red.. I promise it's there!!! :) 

I was sooooo happy with this mani that I couldnt simply stop there... so I stamped over it using Pueen 49 (after taking a ton of pictures in case it ruined itself (because manis get ruined by themselves)

Golden Oldie Thursday: Pink

I have joined another nail group.... am the newbie there ^_^ all the ladies that make up the group are super talented, it's gonna be quite something am really excited...  Am a tad bit late on this but bare with me!! I just joined :) 

There are rules though! 

THE RULES

* the polish you use should be at least one year old

* if you haven't been a polishaholic that long, you can use the oldest polishes you have

* the polish should be previously used, but if you're stuck, you could free a yearling from Mount Untried (seriously, some of mine are reaching puberty out there)

* you can use more than 1 polish as long as it fits the theme and the rules

I love the idea of using the golden oldies.  It's easy to get carried away with new babies and forget the beloved piles.  Luckily I hadn't purged all oldies yet, although when my mom came to visit she really cleaned house.

I found this from one of my all-time favorite brands Masglo, called Bachelor (btw: Masglo was the first and only brand I ever knew and liked at some point) 

Bachelor is a cute peachy-pink I topped with a matte  and added some striping tape for an added effect.

Be sure to check out all the pink manis there are :) They  are all gorgeous.

Another collection I think I had waaaaay too much fun swatching and reviewing received from Bellisimo.

First up is this neutral frosty Brisbane Beaches 

Jerusalem Stone... I drooled over for a french manicure.. I thought it would be a nice pale yellow but you can see how sheer it is even after 3 coats.  

Parisian Princess is the prettiest girly pink and the name suits it soooo well.... 

Portofino Pink.  Being a friend of pink nails I love this color  and the diamond-powder like shine.

Calgary Flame is a bright classic red, luxury edition ;) 

and lastly, Naples Night Out.  A red wine color... 

Glamorous Finishing top coat adds that extra coat of shine and protects your base color.  Is not the fastest drying but definitely a go-to for glamorous manicures.

Inspiring collection.

I loved the red wine contrasting with 24K Gold topper.

This is a well traveled classic collection for a good cause.  The clutch can be used for any fancy occasion.. ehh forget the occasion.. use it any day with any fancy shoes.
