Rainbow Honey: Limited Edition: The Yokai

It's here!!!!!!!!!!! and it came wrapped with love <3 

Finally October 5th and the release of the Yokai Limited Edition Collection by Rainbow Honey!! It's been soooo hard trying to keep the secret but the day has finally come and I can tell you all about it.   

Here they are!Kawako, Kitsune and Oni... The names make me think of Japanese mystical names.  I must say this is the most surprising collection I have ever reviewed.  What I thought would be MY favorite, although gorgeous, turned out #3 on my ranking and that's Kitsune: The Magival White Fox.  It's a neutral, beige base with beautiful red, copper, gold and black tiny glitter.  Great combination of fall colors in a cooler, as opposed to orangy, base.

A little thicker than the others and would feel much nicer with a topcoat. 

Next up is Kawako: The Mischievous River Child.  Simply GORGEOUS!! with blue being my favorite color my eyes were directed in its direction from the very beginning but I thought I'd start from the lightest one.  This is a beautiful blue with silver and blue glitter great for a special occasion or simply to wear "just because" you LOVE it! 

It makes me think of a starry dark blue sky.

And finally, Oni: The Malevolent Wild Demon.  At first seemed like a black and turned out to be a dark brown, this one too features a beautiful shimmer from different color glitters with a gold-copper glow. 

I know its blurry but I think it helps appreciate the different color glitters.  (sighs<3)

To conclude, if I had to rank them I'd award as follows:

3rd place: Kitsune (a little thick)

2nd place: Kawako (ahh my fav. shade of blue,  royalty worthy)

and.. 

1st place: Oni: Because of its surprising beauty when I thought it would just be a silver-glittery black!
