I first told you about Layla Cosmetics when I reviewed their Hologram Effect nail polish. I also received as part of a product review Layla's Soft Touch Effect Ceramic (Queen Bordeaux).
It's not a matte polish per say. It's really smooth to the touch, ceramic effect is a great name for it. Has a redish-orange glow to it. Fast drying and provides high coverage that will last for 10-15 days, virtually indestructible. I took it off after 10 days (I needed to swatch others lol) minor balding occurred, held up pretty good without staining my nails. Layla tells us that we dont need a base coat nor a top coat. It's free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and DBP. Am not a big fan of matte but this polish really grew on me.
I added stripes with a top coat for this beautiful shiny contrast
and it was even welcoming to nail stamping. the possibilities here are endless. I loved it "naked" or "dressed-up"
